Cellulite is the dimpled-looking skin that commonly occurs in the thigh region. It can, however, affect various areas of the body such as abdomen, upper arms legs and buttocks. It forms when fatty tissue deep within the skin pushes up against connective tissue. It typically occurs in post puberty in most females and it is estimated that more than 85 percent of all women over the age of 21 years experience cellulite.
